What is wrinkle-relaxing treatment?

Wrinkle-relaxing treatment uses a purified protein (botulinum toxin type A) that temporarily relaxes the target facial muscles, reducing the movement that causes wrinkles. By limiting these repeated movements, the skin appears smoother, more youthful and more refreshed while still allowing for a natural expression. Over time, it can also help prevent lines from becoming deeper and more permanent.

What the procedure is like

Every facial aesthetics procedure begins with a free consultation to assess your skin, goals, facial movement and wrinkles.

If you’re a suitable candidate, here’s what you can expect during the procedure:

• The treatment area is cleansed
• Small amounts are injected into targeted muscles using a fine needle
• The process is quick and typically well-tolerated
• The entire appointment usually takes 20-30 minutes
• Notice lines softening by day 3-5
• Full results 10-14 days in
• Muscle activity slowly returns, and lines may reappear 3-5 months later
