Profhilo is a treatment used on the face and body to tighten skin, particularly in areas such as the face, neck, arms, and knees.

What is Profhilo?

Like dermal fillers, Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) used on the face and body. However, unlike traditional filler treatments, Profhilo focuses on skin quality rather than targeted volume. It triggers your body to produce collagen and elastin using a naturally occurring substance your skin uses to retain moisture and support structure, helping the skin rebuild itself from the inside out.

Your Profhilo treatment

1. We take time to assess your skin concerns, areas of laxity and overall goals.
2. We inject Profhilo into multiple strategic points so the high-concentration hyaluronic acid can spread beneath the skin.
3. Bio-remodelling begins. The solution disperses, draws in deep hydration, and stimulates collagen and elastin production over the following weeks.

Treatment sessions are typically quick and comfortable. Most patients can return to work the same day if they follow our aftercare advice. You may experience very mild tenderness or redness afterwards.

Profhilo requires 2 treatments, 1 month apart, followed by 1 maintenance treatment every 4 months. Best results usually occur after a course of sessions. We’ll discuss ongoing maintenance with you.
