What is Profhilo?

Similar to dermal fillers, Profhilo is also an injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) that’s used on the face and body. However, unlike traditional filler treatments, Profihilo doesn’t simply add volume that disappears over time. It triggers your body’s production of collagen and elastin by using a naturally occurring substance your skin uses to retain moisture and support structure, causing the skin to rebuild itself from the inside out.

The Profhilo procedure

1. We assess your skin concerns, areas of laxity and overall goals.
2. Profhilo is injected into multiple strategic points where the high-concentration hyaluronic acid can spread beneath the skin.
3. Bio-remodelling begins. The solution disperses, drawing in deep hydration and stimulating collagen and elastin production over the following weeks.

Treatment sessions are typically quick and comfortable. Most patients can return to work the same day or go about their day without limits. Very mild tenderness or redness can be expected afterwards.

Profhilo requires 2 treatments, 1 month apart, followed by 1 maintenance treatment every 4 months. Best results usually occur after a course of sessions. Ongoing maintenance recommended.

I have recently visited Aventis Dental for the very first time and we started with the standard dental hygiene cleaning and treatment.  Nelly was my hygienist. I am so very impressed with her abilities to be not only very thorough but also very gentle.  She is well skilled with her tools.  Nothing hurt at all.  She also asked me all the right questions regarding my daily at home care but also so informative.
