At Aventis Dental Clinic, we do everything we can to promote thorough dental cleaning, and it all starts at home. We recommend the most suitable toothbrush and toothpaste for your needs and provide guidance on proper toothbrushing and gum care. As part of your regular dental regime, we recommend six-monthly professional dental cleaning with one of our dental hygienists.

If you’re experiencing tingling or sensitivity to food or drink, you may well require a filling. At Aventis, we offer a range of fillings, and you’ll choose the best option at an initial consultation. All our fillings are tooth-coloured and professionally shaped to match your existing teeth. Our clinic is fitted with noise-cancelling headphones and ceiling-mounted TV screens, so you can lie back and relax while we complete the filling treatment.
Inlays and onlays work like fillings to repair damaged teeth or cavities, but instead of composite material, they’re crafted from porcelain in a dental lab. This 3D custom design lets them fit the tooth’s cavity perfectly, almost like a puzzle piece. They are a more conservative option than crowns, as they preserve more of the natural tooth. Made with either a chrome or plastic base, custom dentures fit over your gums and are held in place by your remaining teeth or gums. At Aventis, we usually complete this treatment over four appointments, and at every stage, we’ll be there to help and advise until you are delighted with the outcome.
At Aventis, we do everything we can to prevent tooth removal, but sometimes even we have to admit defeat. Occasionally, patients arrive with teeth decayed or damaged beyond any restorative treatment outcome. In these circumstances, a tooth or teeth removal becomes the only viable option. We treat all patients with compassion and gentle care, and our treatment chairs are fitted with headphones so you can listen to music, while ceiling TV screens can help you forget about the ongoing work. After tooth removal, we’ll provide pain relief, and we’re only a call away if you have any issues after treatment.
At Aventis, every time a client sits down for an appointment, we provide a free mouth cancer screening, along with checks for other serious oral conditions. Prevention is better than cure is our mantra, and this simple screening takes only a minute or two, checking the cheeks, throat, and tongue for anything foreign or suspicious-looking. If anything untoward is found, we will either refer you to one of our Consultant colleagues in Cayman or arrange another appointment.
At Aventis, we know some people are apprehensive, anxious, nervous or downright afraid of visiting the dentist. We have invested a lot of time in trying to make our clinic the most relaxing and welcoming dental “spa” on Grand Cayman. However, we also offer sedation for patients who need a little something extra to make the experience even smoother.
Dr Jonathan trained in sedation dentistry at the University of Florida and can offer sedation orally, via IV drip, or by inhalation. The treatment is extremely safe, and you will not be asleep.
