At Aventis, Dr Imogen Bexfield takes a considered approach, using premium hyaluronic acid gel lip fillers to enhance shape, structure, and volume, while still allowing the lips to retain their natural movement and feel.
Dr Bexfield has over a decade of experience with dermal fillers and uses a range of hyaluronic acid fillers, including Teoxane, Restylane, Juvéderm and Aliaxin, selecting products based on your anatomy and the level of softness, structure and definition required.
The amount of filler we recommend depends on your lip structure. During your complimentary consultation, Dr Bexfield will discuss your preferences and assess the amount of filler suited to your features.
Before treatment, Dr Bexfield will assess your natural anatomy, facial proportions, profile, and existing volume to plan the amount and placement that is intended to achieve a balanced result.
For your first lip filler treatment, we typically recommend a conservative approach, building results gradually with careful attention to balance and proportion.
If treatment is suitable:
You’ll enjoy the results immediately, but some swelling is expected, which may make your lips appear fuller for the first few days before settling to their final size and shape. Typically, around 1-2 weeks later, the final settled results will be visible.
Maintenance top-ups are required every 6-18 months, as the body gradually breaks down hyaluronic acid over time.
