Scars, stretch marks and cellulite are all common concerns most of us experience throughout our lifetime, regardless of age, weight or fitness level. Thankfully, there are several modern and professional treatments we offer here at Aventis, which do much more than temporarily smooth the surface.
By stimulating collagen, supporting cellular repair, improving skin firmness and addressing localised fat, we can soften scars, make stretch marks less noticeable and smooth cellulite. But the key is understanding what’s causing the texture issue in the first place to treat it long-term effectively.
So, if you’re looking for the best treatments to target scars, stretch marks and cellulite, learn what we can do:

| Concern | Recommended treatments |
|---|---|
| Scars | Microneedling with PRP, polynucleotides, MOXI laser and medical-grade chemical peels |
| Stretch marks | Microneedling with PRP, polynucleotides, MOXI laser and SkinTyte |
| Cellulite | SkinTyte, Profhilo Body, polynucleotides, skincare laser treatments and Aqualyx where localised fat is contributing |
| Uneven skin texture | MOXI laser, Forever Young BBL, microneedling with PRP, medical-grade chemical peels and polynucleotides |

Scars form during the body’s natural healing process; when the skin repairs itself, it produces new collagen in the damaged area. When too little collagen is formed, or develops in a disorganised pattern, it results in a scar that’s raised, indented and discoloured. Professional treatment does not always remove a scar completely, but it can improve its appearance and texture, and help it blend more naturally with surrounding skin. Here are the treatments Aventis recommends:

Collagen and growth factor-rich plasma supercharges skin to plump up depressed scars and smooth out uneven texture, and as new collagen develops, it rebuilds tissue beneath indented scars. Rather than filling or covering the scar, it encourages the skin to remodel itself from within.

Uses injectable salmon DNA fragments to repair tissue and stimulate collagen and elastin production, reducing scar visibility and smoothing uneven textures from acne or surgery. Working on a cellular level, the treatment stimulates fibroblasts to rebuild damaged skin structurally, making it highly effective for strengthening damaged tissue.

The lunchtime laser treatment is a gentle, non-ablative fractional laser that improves mild-to-moderate acne scarring by triggering your body’s natural healing and collagen-building response to fill in depressed scars without breaking the top layer of skin. It’s especially effective at breaking down excess pigment and red or brown marks left behind by healed scars.

Medium-depth trichloroacetic acid (TCA) treats scars by removing damaged skin layers, stimulating collagen, and encouraging healthier cells to rise to the surface. Superficial peels like Glycolic or Salicylic acid can address mild scarring, rough texture, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. TCA CROSS (Chemical Reconstruction of Skin Scars) applies high-concentration TCA into deep ice pick scars to trigger heavy collagen production.

If the skin stretches or changes more quickly than collagen or elastin fibres can adapt, it can result in stretch marks, which typically appear during pregnancy, puberty, growth spurts and weight fluctuations. They are permanent changes within the deeper layers of skin, but professional treatment can improve their colour, texture and overall visibility.

Needles penetrate the skin to break up old scar tissue, and the PRP is absorbed directly into the micro-channels to plump and fade the targeted area. Treatment is best for patients with red or purple stretch marks. Older, white stretch marks will take longer, but will still result in an improvement in texture and depth/

Recommended for stretch marks that are accompanied by thinning skin and reduced elasticity, as they work within the skin to support fibroblast activity and tissue repair.

A gentle, fractional non-ablative laser that improves stretch marks in several treatment areas through collagen and elastin stimulation. Best for newer, red/purple stretch marks by reducing discolouration.

Cellulite creates dimpled, rippled or uneven surfaces that can be caused by genetics, hormones, circulation, fat distribution, collagen loss and skin thickness, which is why it’s common and affects people of every body type (even those who exercise regularly and maintain a stable weight).

An injectable that dissolves stubborn localised fat that can cause skin dimpling, offering a modest cosmetic improvement by reducing fat deposits. Aqualyx uses deoxycholic acid, a natural bile acid, to rupture fat cell membranes, which breaks down fat cells that are then naturally flushed out of the body via the lymphatic system.

Advanced infrared light deeply heats the dermis, prompting new collagen production and contraction to firm the skin and soften the appearance of cellulite on the thighs and abdomen. As SkinTyte is not a direct cure for cellulite, as it does not remove fat or release fibrous bands, it’s often combined with other procedures for more comprehensive cellulite reduction.

An injectable hyaluronic acid bio-remodeler that can treat cellulite by hydrating the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production and firming loose skin. As it thickens and smooths the skin, it can help disguise dimpling and the “orange peel” texture.

Injectable biostimulators that use purified DNA/RNA fragments to repair and regenerate loose skin by improving thickness, elasticity and collagen production that can smooth out the dimpled, uneven texture characteristic of cellulite. When the skin loses strength and thickness, fat deposits push through, creating visible dimples. Polynucleotides rev up fibroblast activity to fight this.

No treatment can guarantee completely smooth or cellulite-free skin. The goal is to improve firmness, texture and body contours so the area appears smoother and more even.

Whether you want to soften scars, improve stretch marks, or smooth cellulite, the right treatment begins with understanding what is happening beneath the surface.
